instagram

When they brought Instagram to the Android operating system, I was one hugely happy camper. I'd never found the funds to be able to join the iPhone gang, but felt like I was really missing out, so when it came along I got involved straight away.

1414 posts later (see? Utterly addicted), I've now got myself an iPhone, and edit everything in my beloved VSCO cam app. These are some of my absolute favourites, and I almost prefer them to my Canon efforts - I think they look brighter and cleaner, somehow. Ahh well, perhaps VCSO will make a desktop app for PC users one day (hint, hint!).

I'm on Instagram as OwlandAccordion if you want to follow along - at the moment it's all about flowers, the outdoors and upcyled wood!

  1. One bitten, forever Instagram smitten! I think it's a great way to collect 'day to day' photos together into a project in themselves, and I always enjoy looking through peoples streams, less pressure than sites like Flickr!

Your collection of three flowers are also all favourites of mine currently growing in my garden - that orange is so cheery!

    1. I never really got to grips with Flickr, so I know what you mean! The orange ones are Calfornian Poppies (although I'm sure you already know that!) - and they leave behind a seed pod after the flower has died. I've been collecting and drying them like mad, ready for next year - free flowers, hurrah!

  2. Your photos are gorgeous, love the simplicity of them. Really love the flower ones!
I also adore VSCO, and I'm struggling to use more of my DSLR when I love the results of VSCO so much!

    1. Thank you so much! I know exactly what you mean about VSCO and not using the DSLR, I said exactly the same thing last night - although if you look on the VSCO website, they sell an add-on pack for Photoshop and Photoshop Lightroom, so I'm now saving up for that!
