little vintage blouse

Where I work (Paul Smith), we get a pretty generous uniform allowance, on the obvious proviso that once we've accrued enough (the rule states two years), we only wear clothes from there to work. I've got a pretty good assortment already, and reach two years in August, but I do love mixing it up with a bit of vintage, so while I still can, I combine my own clothes with some pieces of Paul Smith. It does help that I like a lot of his clothes - I can't imagine working somewhere that only stocked things I detested.

I decided I wanted to wear my little vintage blouse from Dead Man's Glory as soon as I possibly could after buying it, and was going to put it with a navy skirt and grey cardigan, but when I put it on I noticed that it looked quite nice when it was undone. In the end, I left it open over a Paul Smith dress like a little jacket - I love that the dress sleeves are slightly longer than the blouse's.

Lou, welcome! I've bookmarked your blog for another time, bed is calling me but I wanted to make sure I didn't lose the link! Dreaming of an Aga is fab, do you read Baby and Wool as well? I'm not sure if it's the same shop - did she work in the one in Portsmouth? I've been there for almost two years and haven't known an Elle, but she may have been before my time! x
